The Bard is a musical based job who plays songs in order to increase its party members or allies’ strength or other stats. The bard is often recognized by the flute it uses, and is often compared to the red mage because of the kind of spells it is accustomed to using.
The corsair is a job which relies on the luck of the role, or in other words it relies primarily on its dice to get its enhancing spells to work. this job tends to use guns if it wishes to hit something from a distance and is kind of seen as a pirate amongst final fantasy players.
The red mage along with being a mage is also considered to be an enhansing job. Though unlike the bard and corsair the red mage relies on its spells to improve its allies' strengths.
